My cell phone just died (along with all my phone numbers!). The worst thing about this is that I still have three months left on my contract so can’t get a new phone yet. The guy in the store suggested I buy a crappy $30 phone until I can get an upgrade – for the privilege of starting another two year contract. So now I have the crappest phone in the world. Cell Phones are such a rip-off in this country!

I’m in a similar position with renewing my phone contract. I’m going for a pay and go simcard for a bit while I consider my options (and keeping my current phone).

And then of course there’s the whole debate on whether we really need the things at all?! I occasionally crave the time when when we used to survive without text messages… of course they can be a useful tool to flirt with members of the opposite sex… an infrequent occurrence!
same thing happened to me only i was stupid and brought my phone into lake texoma with me. lol but yeah..i have a go phone right now.. waiting for my upgrade. i hate it.
